This museum is a place of remembrance for the soldiers of the First World War which opened on August 9, 1981.
A deadly confrontation, causing 17,000 dead soldiers, took place on this battlefield. There is the possibility to see the infrastructure of the German defense system and the remains of the French trenches.
It can be visited freely or as a guided tour (only for groups and by reservation), it takes about 2h30.
The museum is wheelchair accessible, parking on site.
